What would yall think of something like this


Round 1: Cam Robinson Bama,guy is a bug mauling Tackle who we could even play at Guard like Tunsil


Round 2: Best OG available this is a good guard class and we should be able to get a good one in the 2nd still


Round 3: Tomlinson DT Bama so underrated for that Dline,he's my guy this year and I think hes a total stud and would get to learn under roy.


I know this is an "ugly" draft but it would help our lines immensely! Beachum-2nd round G-Linder-Cann-Robinson is a pretty good line!

Peppers for where we probably be drafting would be a huge reach. Garrett is #1 overall so ya if he's there then yes!

I'm not opposed to it. If we are picking top 5 I'd rather trade down then take a RT, even if we aren't getting a kings ransom in return.


There should be some quality guards in round 2. We need to attack the Oline like we did the defense last year.

I probably can't name 5 guys better. I would rather have Jon Allen, Tim Williams, Reuben Foster, and Mumphery so he's probably 5th.

1) Jon Allen - Alabama.

Incredible Dline player with very few holes his game. I can't see any reason why this would be a bad pick.


2) Take the best OLine guy available. Have no idea who that is at the momemt .


3) Best S/CB available, safety and cornerback is really deep this year, similar to the 2014 WR class. Could get a 1st round talent here in the third.

Some of those guys really fell in the draft because they were coming off of an injury. I know that I had Ajayi as the best RB in his class and I couldn't figure out why he kept falling. I was literally screaming at the television for the Jags to draft him. Then they said his medical report stated that his knee was a mess and he would probably have a short NFL career. That is why teams were avoiding him. I didn't care though. I would rather have an elite runner for 5 years, than have a mediocre runner for 10. He had been running on that "shredded" knee all through college and it never slowed him down. He said it didn't even bother him.

 

Johnson was the victim of numbers. He was a small school runner with so-so speed who came out in one of the deepest RB drafts in a long, long time. I was a big fan of his as well. I viewed him as an early to mid 2nd rounder.

 

Out of that list, Freeman was definitely my biggest whiff. I didn't see him as anything more than a scatback. Man, I was wrong on that one! 

 

Correct me if I'm wrong on this, but didn't Murray and Charles enter their drafts coming off of injury as well. I thought they did, but I could be wrong. My memory sucks.

Yeah Ajayi had really good tape but that knee thing set him back a ton. I had Coleman as my favourite running back in that drafted, was real losses when we picked Yeldon in the 2nd.


As far as I know Charles and Murray were healthy coming into Tue draft. Think Murray had a few injuries throughout college though.


Point being is that there's no need to draft a running back in the top 10 in today's NFL. Elliot is a bit different as he has a world class line to run with.


If push came to shove I'd take Cook over Fournette. Think he'll have a better NFL career.
