People complained about Trump because they figured that he would not get elected.  America just proved again that the common sense answer usually isn't the answer Americans choose.  Good ol Merica.  Everyone's split almost 50/50 on the election and yet people still have the nerve to act like they know what their talking about like its a "no-brainer".  Lol the audacity of some people thinking they are smarter than everyone else.

I'm sorry if this has been posted already, but are you really putting this picture up under the guise that it isn't a total Photoshop job? Look at the colours of the yellow/white(in some instances) signs. Look at the posts being in front of some signs and the writing still being in front of it all. Listen, I know you voted for Trump, so there is the assumption that you do take some extra time to catch on...but "come on man!"

I can't speak for protests around the country, but I do know, here in Indianapolis, that there was a protest over the weekend.  It happened on Saturday.  Indy Police officers guarded, walked with, and protected the anti-Trump protestors (so much for police brutality, you know?).  The police also negotiated with pro-Trump people to leave Monument Circle so as to not cause a full fledged riot.  Four hours later, the anti-Trump protests rioted, throwing rocks and objects at police.  Two officers were hurt.  But the point is that the police supported their rights and a peaceful environment for them.   I understand why people are frustrated, but the losers in the previous two elections didn't riot or hurt other people.  I think it is a fine time for President Obama and Clinton to call for basic law and order.

Not really, considering 90% of the media has been hardcore propagandizing that Trump is the second coming of Adolphito Hitlorini. That, and poverty levels and job market is much better when Dubya was elected, so less time for now-jobless millennials to protest since they were working towards a meaningful career.

2 to 10 year olds wouldn't have been out on the streets like this.

No. Even the Tea Party, the most active you've seen conservatives in years, was by and large peaceful. They weren't these riots that you see today.

 

You can't, however, relate "discussion" to these riots. Not sure how you include that in the things you consider possibilities unless you want to mitigate the severity of the protest. Besides, what is "ugliness" to you?

That was nearly two decades ago for Bush's first election. Social media wasn't as large and the country didn't have a general sense of entitlement.
