He's not good at anything with these stats.  He should have been fired also.

•Throwing on the Run

•Running

•Tough

Sadly that's pretty much it...

Dude desperately needs help mechanically, and an O coordinator who can train him in correct repetitions over time.

Last year he didn't have a running game, so I'm skeptical that we really need a HB. We need a G for sure. But as far as I'm concerned he has the pieces to be successful. Perhaps it's the system or perhaps he's just lost his confidence

I'm starting to think you may be right about that, he clearly thought he didn't need to spend the time to get better this last offseason.

He said he was going to start working on it as soon as he finishes his beer.

Quote:Honestly that's what I was thinking on that sack towards the end of today's game.  But that is pretty uncharacteristic for Bortles.

Honestly, nothing about that sack reminded me of Gabbert. Gabbert would have folded like an accordion the moment there was pressure. Bortles tried to fight through it. His version of panic was a bit of frantic scrambling, and still attempting to toss the ball down field as he was being brought down. Gabbert's version was "there's a defender within 5 yards of me time to assume the fetal position.

Quick change from helmet to ball cap on the sidelines.  He has Superman to Clark Kent speed.

Inaccurate passes

Passes behind the 1st down marker, especially on 3rd down

Losing football games, even with a 4th quarter lead.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Bortles will have a drink in honor of Gus Bradley's departure. No make that two drinks.

Ok, one tequila shot for each one of Gus Bradley's losses

When my son and I play catch in the front yard and one of us throws a duck, we call it a Blake, it's that bad.
