The fact that he has 36 passes in the first half tells you about why his numbers are inflated. They constantly do 4-5 wide plays.

I wanted Barkley as a flier in the 4th round. Big deal. I didn't advocate using a higher pick on him than that. For a team that was QB starved like the Jags it wouldn't have been a bad gamble. Ace Sanders ain't doing squat other than getting injured, either. 

 

Lefevour was a mis-eval I admit that. I pulled a Gene Smith there and fell in love with the player from a couple early games I saw and neglected to see his weaknesses. His lack of arm strength simply was too much to overcome at this level.
