Mike McCoy a candidate for Jags OC positions per Michael Silver

Quote:Some might say that about Marrone.
Do you know the circumstances as to why Marrone left?

If you did, I almost guarantee that you would do the same thing in his situation.

Stay in a job that you don't think you will last long with the owners changing or leave and collect 4 million dollars then get a new HC job in a year or two.

I know which one I would pick

Agreed. And considering the circus that team has been since, I don't blame him one bit. VERY different circumstances than how Turner left
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

McCoy is going to Denver with Vance

Jags are definitely trailing in the chase for McCoy. Would be some magic trick. Temper expectations.
Only a chump boos the home team!

Quote:If Coughlin is mandating certain coaches be brought in/replaced, I think that's a problem.

That said, I doubt that's the case.
Coughlin being a former head coach knows the importance of the HC picking his own staff...I can't see him meddling in that area...

Where did you see that? I just read where he was the favorite to be the OC in Buffalo under Sean McDermott.

Link? Last I read Vance will be interviewing McCoy and Musgrave for his OC opening.

If it were me, I'd bring in Brian Callahan to interview for the OC position. He did wonders with Matthew Stafford, until the finger injury and he comes from a coaching family.

Denver has two OC interviews now set up for Thursday, per sources: Mike McCoy and Bill Musgrave. Each have Broncos connections.

The newest rumor is McCoy is most likely headed to Buffalo to work with McDermott.

Quote:McCoy is a very impressive offensive mind and it's no wonder Marrone and company want him.

There might be a reason why Hackett hasn't been named OC yet....
Broncos and Bills want him, I hope we can snag him first
