Don't see him coming here. He will probably pick the job that has a defensive head coach. So he can run the offensive show and be right back into head coaching. Would be nice though.

That's weird. Idk why they would keep Hackett up until this point if they were looking to make a change.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I don't buy it at all.

I think Marrone and Hackett have a good working relationship.

They were together in Buffalo.  Marrone brought him here when he became OL coach.

I think Marrone keeps Hackett as OC.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

I suppose. It just doesn't seem very likely.

None of the teams mentioned has a great QB situation.
Only a chump boos the home team!

Mike McCoy is also a candidate to join Sean McDermott as the new OC for the Buffalo Bills, replacing Anthony Lynn.

Silver said Marrone when all the Smitty buzz was happening. He's reliable.

No way!

Marrone and Hacket go way back and if we were in search of new OC, Hacket would have been gone by now.  They both believe in Bortles and want to continue developing him, but new OC might not think the same.

It would make it easier to move the Chargers since whatever fans the Bolts still have left in SoCal would commit suicide.

Unless Coughlin is mandating that they at least look at their options.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Yes. He was the only saying Marrone when others were saying Smith and Mcdaniels.

Another possibility is Mike McCoy goes back to the Denver Broncos,  especially if Vance Joseph or Dave Toub becomes their new HC.

If Philip Rivers ends up in Jacksonville,  there probably will be more Jaguars fans in SoCal than Chargers fans.
