Quote:Wow... Samaje Perine's 30 reps led all RBs by a ways... 2nd best did 24.

Strong arms for a RB suggests he won't fumble and makes for a great straight arm. Perine is a ball of muscle from head to two. He could probably do a couple reps with his pinky finger.

Lol bench pressing doesn't mean that at all.

yeah bench press isnt a measure of arm strength lol

but either way his arms are a couple of cannons, he can probably crush a ball so well between his biceps the patriots could take him in the first just to be a deflating machine.

What players hurt themselves the worst at this Combine? Two guys that I believe might not be drafted are Zack Banner and Dan Skipper. Banner struggled mightily at the Senior Bowl with slow footwork, getting beat off the edge. He has trouble keeping off his weight and because of his size and lack of speed (very poor 40 time and 10 split), he is a RT only and looks like a project at best. Skipper struggled all year in pass protection and watching him without his pads on, he looks way skinny. In fact, against the other OT's out there, he almost looked to have the body of a basketball player. He needs to add a massive amount of weight on that skinny frame of his. He also looked stiff in the drills and like Banner, he is a project RT only. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he went undrafted.

Banner's teammate Damien Mama fared even worse in the 40. He was the slowest player so far at the Combine and his 3 cone drill was the 3rd worst among O-Linemen in the last 30 years. The kid is strong and a good run blocker, but he needs to run much better at his pro day to improve his draft stock. As it stands, he has a chance of not being drafted as well.

Quote:Elliott ran a 4.47 at 225. A guy at 240 running a 4.5 is damn good.

Yes it is ! I was raving for Cook over Fournette, now to me that gap has closed.. I wouldn't mine either one.. More surprised about Cook 40 time tho.

#OhioState S Malik Hooker was clearly the guy who created buzz in the room. Huge hands and big wingspan. "Turnover machine."

Whew he's virtually exactly Ramsey's build with an inch bigger hands. What a beast.

Anyone know when RB shuttle and 3 cone numbers will be up?

Lattimore with short arms small hands, wonder if that'll effect how teams view him.

<a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/OhioState?src=hash'>#OhioState</a> CB Marshon Lattimore measured 6-0, 193 pounds, 8 7/8 hands, 31 1/4 arms, 74 7/8 wingspan. <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/NFLCombine?src=hash'>#NFLCombine</a>

Billy Brown is an interesting guy, 6'4 255 played WR in college could be a TE on the NFL level.

Quote:So, three other OLs were right up there alongside Lamp on the bench...

OG Isaac Isiata (Utah) did 35 reps, and OT Aviante Collins (TCU) and OL Jermaine Eluemunor (Texas A&M) did 34 reps.

Who are these guys?

Moton is an OT I've been thinking of getting in round two should a top QB, RB or G not fall, but he did an oh-so-average 23 reps.
Eluemenor has been quietly climbing boards.  I think Mayock lists him as his 5th best tackle prospect. (maybe it was guard?)

He grew up playing rugby outside of London - moved to the states at 14.  Said to be a project with big upside due to limited experience / playing time in college.
