Cook's pro day just got massively important.
Heck, so is Fournette's after his awful vertical jump and then bailing on the rest of the agility drills.
Quote:Cook's pro day just got massively important.Fournette is 240 lbs. He has a low center of gravity. His vert doesnt really mean anything.
One of my mid round favorites Brian Hill had some solid agility numbers and overall numbers/performance at the combine.

Cooks a weird one. His film shows he has crazy agility and speed. Numbers not so much.
Wonder is it bad prep or if he just isn't that type of athlete. Quote:Fournette is 240 lbs. He has a low center of gravity. His vert doesnt really mean anything. It confirms he has poor explosion and needs the runway to get momentum, just like we've all been saying.
Quote:It confirms he has poor explosion and needs the runway to get momentum, just like we've all been saying. He is a power back with speed that can block. I think all the GMs already know he isn't known for his agility. No backs his size are. He is not going to try and dance around you, he is going to try and run through you, or stiff arm you and then out run you. You will get a juke here and there but that isnt the type of back he is and most people and all the GMs already know it. We show less advertisements to registered users. This Fournette vert thing is blown out of proportion. He is who he is, some people probably think of the Adrian Peterson and Bo Jackson comps when looking at his combine numbers, but if you thought he was either athletically...you played yourself.
Quote:lol, it goes from drafting a SS at 4, to a RB at 4, to a TE, at 4. Next we are going to be talking about taking Lamp at 4. I love lamp (I tried to post gif but I'm not computer savvy enough to figure it out) Quote:He is a power back with speed that can block. If we improve our run blocking to the point that Fournette can take advantage of the 2nd and 3rd levels, which we agree he is great at, then we can get a whole lot of other RBs a lot cheaper who can also take advantage of that same improved blocking.

Not sure if anyone will ever match what Bo could do again. Maybe the most gifted athlete of all time. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:These QBs aren't good. That is said every year and still QBs go way too high. That QB tax is PRICEY Quote:For anyone to even compare him to Bo Jackson is ridiculous.
