I'd be mad as heck if we passed on him in round two as it would remind me of the time we passed on Roethlisberger in round two just because we already had Leftwich.

I recall the Jaguars passing on Big Ben who went right after, but I see that happened in round one... Jaguars picked WR Reggie Williams at #9, and then the Steelers picked Big Ben at #11. Byron was in year second year, but I was thinking I'd love to see the two compete with the loser traded. Had we done that, the Jaguars would have dominated from that point on as that's when our defense was at its best under JDR.

Trubisky is probably the best of the QBs at the "top" of this class, but that's not saying much.

 

I trust the Jaguar scouts opinions look nothing like this thread.  Otherwise, we're toast if we're taking a QB with our second pick.  Or even third.
