My top 3 QB Choices

#1

If we go QB in the 1st - Watson

If we go in the 2nd round - Patrick Mahomes

If we draft one later I would go Brad Kayaa

I don't think we take a QB till round 4.

I wanna wait until the final round and select Alek Torgersen of Penn. He played in the East/West Shrine game and I was really impressed. He is far from a finished product, but in this draft class, I like him as well as anyone. I believe he has quite a bit of upside with the right coaching.

I think the Jags are take deshaun watson because coughlin wants a real qb, the michael jordan of qbs is for real.

if he was the Michael Jordan of QBs I think one of the 3 teams in front of us all that need a QB would take him don't you?

If coughlin is willing to trade up to get his own franchise qb, i have no problem with it

I'm thinking we go QB in round 6 unless a top 4 QB drops to round 2.

At this point I'm ordering the top 4 as follows...

  1. Kizer

  2. Watson

  3. Trubiski

  4. Mahones

I can only really picture Mahones as possibly dropping, but each team might have a different order here.

Mahones would be my top pick at #35 unless he's up against McCaffrey, Lamp or Njoku where I'd have to think about it more.

no team would trade back to miss out on the Michael Jordan of QBs

Since Henne wasn't released I'm not sure the team takes a QB at all

I do kinda like Mahomes

They will take the value if the value is there on their board. If they have a guy ranked high on their board and he's still there for the pick he will be the guy.

1. Watson

2. Mahomes

3. Kizer

4. Trubisky

All 4 going in the first round.

Do you ever say anything worth reading or are you just sarcastic 100% of the time for attention?

The team owes it to themselves to take one of the top four should one fall to the spot. Otherwise, I'd like to see them take on in round 6, 7 or as a UDFA. The idea would be to allow for a straight up competition. There's ZERO reason Henne should be handed the backup role when he hasn't played a game in years, and stunk the last time he did. After Blake, this team needs an open QB competition for the backup role even if that means Chenne, Brandon Allen, and a late round pick in the competition. I'm not opposed to bringing in a FA either, but there needs to be a fair and un-biased battle really for both backup spots. I suspect that Chenne will have his hands full trying to beat out Allen and/or any 6th round pick QB we might bring in.

All day.

I am honestly starting to think based on our receivers and the way we play football.  They may shock the world and select Watson at 4.  Reasons are these.

What if the plan is to let Cyp go and Play Jack at SS? (remember when he said he could for the chargers)

What if the diversion is to not let other teams think taking qb?

What if tom is actually not a fan of bortles, like many think?

What if tom convinces Dave that would give him more time if drafted Watson?

What if  San fran was willing to trade slots for Blake?

Now while it would be highly unlikely.  didn't dave once say It is qb league and you either have one or you don't?

Add to those to think about?

Safety can be had in second round

DE still be quality in second round

RB still be quality in second round

Corner will be addressed in FA.

As well as a line man or two.

If the Jags wanted a true insurance policy?  And really wanted to win now?  What would it hurt to move on?  Or have a future quality qb back there. To step in. Or give Blake real qb competition.

Just things to think about.  Though is highly unlikely we take a qb at pick 4.

But just imagine Watson for a second,  With AR15, Lee, and Hurns.  And If we grabbed Bennett as well?

Thats alot of weapons.

Please elaborate why you think this? I believe a qb can go as high as round 1!

Heck yeah.

I'd be mad as heck if we passed on him in round two as it would remind me of the time we passed on Roethlisberger in round two just because we already had Leftwich.
