If we draft fournette, do we trade back into first for Lamp?

We'd have to trade back to something like the late teens to get him...that would require the rest of our draft probably.

Quote:I don't want him at LG. I want him at RG. I wanna move Cann back to LG where he looked much more comfortable. If we keep him at RG, we're just gonna have a weak link there.

I have a tough time understanding what the difference really is between right and left, but generally speaking when it comes to the OL I'm a believer in consistency. Cann has now worked with Parnell for the season, and the two looked better in December. There's is something to the thought of keeping that going while putting the rookie next to Albert. Do you really think it will make that big of a difference for AJ?

Quote:Would love to trade down and get McCaffrey and then use the ammo gained (plus our 2nd) to move back into the 1st for Lamp. Then attack TE, DL, DB, and OL depth for the rest of the draft.

Oh man.... if we could leave round one with both McCaffery (or Howard) and Lamp, I'll be on cloud nine. That's probably the best possible situation.

Best possible realistic scenario IMO is

Thomas

Dawkins/Robinson at guard

Mixon and he's got his stuff together

Yes, I do. He played LG in college and looked much more comfortable there his rookie year until we moved him to RG. That's when his struggles began.

Could be that, could just be that he was better against college players who are now selling cars and insurance.

He's never played LG with the Jaguars.

He did play some his rookie year. It wasn't long, but he looked good.
