Can Cook make up lost ground?

We should be paying more attention to Foreman doing his pro day right now instead. 4.41-4.43 and 7.00 3 cone at 233. That's impressive.

11.41 60 yard shuttle while slipping some on the turf rubber pellets. Woulda been good for 3rd best at the combine.

Get out of here. With non cook stuff. In a cook thread. Delvin is a monster. And a receiving threat. And can help bail Blake out.

That was my thought as well.

cook is getting seriously devalued because of the people that put TOO much stock into the combine numbers. theyre a good tool to put the finer touches on your tiers, but body of work is what the bulk of your value should depend on.

It's not a case of being "devalued."

It's a case of many overrating him prior to now.  It's not dislike Bridgewater.  Some were out of touch with reality and put him at the top of the class, when realistically he was a second round talent.

Similar story here, where some had Cook as level or even better rated than Fournette.  It wasn't a realistic take to begin with.

Accept a lot of people would be wrong.  Cause Cook is much better.  He is the best ever rb out of fsu.  Fournette is the second best on his team and had broken nothing.   A big fast man and nothing else.   But one who can't power in between lines?   wow.

I say we go against grain.  And excel.  We took Jalen and Telvin and both been gold.   They say good things happen in threes.

Well I agree with that too so it's probably somewhere between. I had cook as a 10-20 range guy before. Now he is looking like he's gonna go 20-40, but he's still the 3rd or 4th best RB prospects in the draft.

If he replicates his success at FSU though, he will definitely outplay his draft position, assuming no one reaches.

<b><i>This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."</i></b>     What has fournette won?   If he has less yards then another running back on his team?

Cook in last bowl game against Michigan? "Drops mic"

This is the butthurt that happens when non-scouts are wrong about "grading" a player and refuse to accept it.

I'm wrong about player X so therefore I must bash player Y.

Cooks a better pure running back than Fournette but the off the field stuff, injuries and fumbles are too much. Also when you have red flags like this it doesn't help when you test badly.

But at the end of the day bro.  Cook played his bowl game.  Fournette chose to quit on his team and not play.

Fournette at 4 is only a pipe dream.  Or everything preached this off season goes out window.

If Cook is not worthy of 4....Fournette isn't either because the tape shows Cook is the better overall RB.  Anyone thinking otherwise is delusional to a certain extent.  Cook was the star RB on his team and dominated during his career while fournette was in a committee approach...and still wasn't number 1 on the team as TTR said.

if people are clamoring that Fournette is soo much better than Cook i would love a full breakdown that supports this outside of combine numbers and drills which would really not help either.  Show me the tape, please.

Thats how i see it, because neither him nor Fournette have separated themselves as the Top Choice.  If we are talking no injuries or issues then McCaffrey is the best back in this class; but as a talent only perspective, its a tie between the top 3 with all of them having special abilities as RBs while McCaffrey offers more outside of just the RB position.  if all 3 are drafted before our 2nd rd pick then Mixon is right there with them with Talent, except wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy down due to off the field issues.

So multiple scouts, analysts, nfl.com's scouts that provide grades, most everyone here...all delusional?  Not sure how much you're exaggerating, but I'm going to say I disagree with you as does thousands of others.
