Best running back draft 2017

Quote:How is he supposed to show "wiggle" when he has open running lanes? You don't need to show many moves when you just need to run through open holes. It doesn't mean he doesn't possess those moves. It just means he doesn't need to use them. The same goes for his pass catching. They never threw him the ball in college, but it doesn't mean he can't catch. I believe he's gonna be the best NFL RB in this class. I can't wait to see this guy in the NFL.

That's the thing, when he doesn't have wide open running lanes he doesn't look like much. If you are trying to translate him to the NFL you see a big guy with lots of speed but very little other than that.

People have become very lazy with their player labeling lately.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Quote:Few things, he goes down easily for a guy his size, he has very little nuance or wiggle to his game and he fumbles a ton.

I mean I get the allure, hes big and very fast in a straight line. But if you watch the games he's pretty much just running through wide open holes against the worst rushing defenses in the country.
D'onta Fournette? I seriously wouldn't know which one you were talking about if this was all I read.

They are actually fairly similar when you think about it.

The only thing I don't like about DF is he doesn't run angry to me. I want to see him punish people with his speed and size. I think coaching can help that though

I looked at the current players in the league. He's not the receiver that Le'Veon Bell or David Johnson were, but I believe he shows more burst off the line. He's bigger and has much more vision than Todd Gurley. He has much more speed and burst than Jonathan Stewart or LeGarrette Blount. He's bigger and stronger than DeMarco Murray, but Murray was way more polished in his all around game. I compared him to a lot of guys coming out of college and Peterson was the closest I could come up with.

Hey when y'all bash me for the crime of not thinking Fournette is worth an elite draft pick, remember this instead.

I'll say it right now. Foreman and Lamp are my top rated players in the entire draft. Laugh all you want, but I believe both are Pro Bowl players and I'll live and die by these picks. Feeney and Ramczyk would be in my top 10 overall.

I wouldn't say Fournette goes down easily.

Would you take Foreman over Myles Garrett?

I've seen Fournette compared to earl campbell and I think that makes the most sense to me. We've seen big and fast guys before but there is a certain violence to his game that is uncommon. You can tell that he enjoys the head on confrontation, he seeks out contact.

Remember when that guy ripped Fournette's entire facemask off trying to get him down?

Remember Earl Campbell getting his whole jersey ripped off as he carried people?

Calling Deshawn Watson a future bust since 3/19/17. If I eat crow, I will keep this in here and proclaim JackCity a genius.

Absolutely. I'm not sold on Garrett, even as the best DE in the draft.
