Holy Crap --- that game was crazy.  I don't think anyone in the stands sat down that entire game.  The defensive hits were incredible.

I had the foamy things wrapped around my ears because it was so loud. It was amazing

It reminded me of The Thrilla In Manilla - which I saw at the Jax Colosium on pay per view. The energy level of the crowd was just incredible.

I think every male in the stands was ready to grab a helmet and take the field.

Wait a second.  They had that fight shown at the Coliseum?  That must have been pretty cool !!!

It might have been the first Ali-Frazier fight, now that I think of it. It was a long time ago.

But yes, it was very cool. The crowd was probably half Ali, half Frazier. The reaction to every punch, every hit, was amazing.

And it probably cost some outrageous price - like $25.00 or something.

Anyone remember what announcer was talking about when he said so many things swirling around Jacksonville this week?

"idiot kicker" comes to mind looking at Manning's body language.

One of his best.  IIRC, he had one just about as long at Indy early in his career, too.

He deserves Ring of Honor for that alone.

It was this timeframe when the rumors broke that Weaver was going to sell the team to FedEx CEO Fred Smith.

In reality, Weaver had just secretly begun the process/negotiation with Shahid Khan (secretly, in an attempt to avoid such rumor until a deal could be reached.)

Loved being at that game. That feeling, that energy in there that game cannot be truly be known unless you were there. I don't care how big of tv you have.

It's what keeps me coming back. Wishing for that one more time.

One of the most intense, gripping games in my Jagdom. God bless that D.

Much deserved to the pleasant, engaging, golfing Jag, Scobee Dooby Do.

On opening day one year, Josh Scobee kicked off to Josh Scobey..., per Gregg Easterbrook of TMQ.

This is why Jason Meyers would never be embraced by this fanbase because he never comes through in the clutch like Josh Scobee has for this franchise. Meyers has missed 3 game winners for us in two years against the Colts.

Myers has hit 2 game winners for us also. He has potential but can't really trust him yet.
