So we still have our pick of the best projected guards?
Yeah Boyyyyyyeee. NH3...

Not my fav pick for round 1 but expected and applauded. I would rather have seen us attack a different position in round 1 and pick up an rb in rounds 2 or 3.
The board has fallen nicely for us though Lamp, robinson and jordan willis are all available and id be happy with any in the second
Ian Rapport saying GB fielding calls about 33 presumably about taking a QB!!

And I hate saying that. But ya either have a qb or you don't. So Dobbs? Evans? or Petterman I guess? He also wanted Cook to be drafted at 4, so I'd say he is closer to doesn't know anything.

Coughlin flat out says in this video that we got to fix the OL lol, we are def going OL at 35

For everyone upset about not taking Watson, he was definitely the best qb of the class. But that doesn't mean he's good enough for a 1st Rd pick. I'm glad we went with Fournette and possibly have a chance to get Lamp. I wouldn't have thought it was possible.....
Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!

It sucks that oline is probably the biggest needs for GB and Sea. Would be a nightmare if Lamp and Robinson are gone when we pick

the jags are in great shape to fix the o line. no guards have been taken and only two tackles . the second pick is going to be huge. its going to be a great day!

Our continued upgrade on the offensive side of the ball is definitely warranted. As I've projected from the beginning, we need to upgrade our OL internally while adding depth/insurance. I'm thrilled w/the sellection of 4Nette to say the least.
NH3...

Quote:Man, we shouldn't have done RB. Cook is still gonna be there at 35 I think.Time Will Tell if Cook will still be available at the top of the second even though we'll pass on him if he is. NH3...

The tacks picked up Derrick Henry at pick 45 last year. I think they got the best bang for the buck. Taking Watson at #4 and Cook in Rnd 2 would have made more sense. But I don't make the picks.
I ain't no monkey... I'm an ape.
Listening to Coughlin it really does sound like we're going OL at #35. He practically stated as much.
I also like how he laid out the start of the Jaguars board. Clearly they had the guys listed...

What did we give last year to slide up a couple for Jack? I could see something similar if we feel we'll miss out on our OL of choice

I could see something similar if we feel we'll miss out on our OL of choiceA 5th round pick, I remember Caldwell said teams at the end of the first-beginning of the second wanted a 4th, they waited and then traded a 5th to move up for him. I think we'll stay put for now though, maybe more likely we trade back in the second if there's a player we covet later. |
