Made progress. We have a Baldor L3609T 3hp motor. It's hooked up to a 220v 13-18a motor starter (the part not working), that runs to the main power switch, and a cable with what I think is a 5-50 nema connection which seems to not be rated for 220v.

New switch, new plug, and a new breaker in the panel, and I think it'll be sorted out.

After many starts and stops we made it through 6 bins today!

Only 146 more now lol.

How many bins a day is a good day typically?

I don't know, it's the first time I've ever done it. Usually I just send everything in and hope for the best.

I think I can settle in on like 20 a day. I still making tweaks to the machine - the skate wheels are way off and so are the catch bars.

Good luck SF. I’m sure you’ll get that thing humming along nicely with some perseverance and properly formulated incantations of swear words.

I know this has been spoken about already, but I have several fresh reminders. I don't know who is annoying me more right now, AT&T/DirecTV or car warranty telemarketers.

Att and Direct Tv are the same people.  I’m going to say the auto warranty people are the biggest culprits.   Now, that’s saying something!

I know they're the same people, hence the slash.

The thing that gets me about them is that they tell me that my existing AT&T account qualifiesme for so and so.  Guess what?  I don't have a [BLEEP] AT&T account.

Speaking of slash, Slash was a great guitarist. I hope G&R never release a single about my expiring auto warranty.  I guess for both of our sakes.

He's dropping a new album with Myles Kennedy soon.

Not a trivial annoyance but putting it here anyway.

Evidently Amazon has a problem with delivery in my county and now instead of 2-day shipping it's 10 days. More often than not I don't need what I'm ordering in two days but within 4-5 days is acceptable. Ten days is absurd. I'm not paying Amazon for ten day shipping, I'm paying for two.

It seems to be affecting all but the most northern part of the county so a lot of people are pissed. I can ship it to my FIL house and have it tomorrow but to ship it to mine will take 10 days. This is BS.

Call them. Anytime I’ve had issues they have been surprisingly helpful.  That is after the initial telling of the obvious.  They ended up giving me x amount of dollars on my account.  I don’t remember how much.  Wasn’t significant but covered the cost and more of the next day shipping I paid for.

I will call them but it's not going to fix the problem of delivery 10 days out if they don't have drivers to do the job. I looked into it but with gas as expensive as it is and my truck has a 23 gallon tank I'd likely be paying for my gas and snacks and not actually making money. It's a weird system they have too. It's not like UPS, FedEx or USPS where you load your packages for the day and deliver them.

Look up Amazon Flex if you're curious.

Forgive me, but I’m a bit confused.  Amazon Is having issues with help/drivers and you’re getting packages 10 days out.  That, for Amazon’s standards is way out of the norm unless you’re buying stuff from sellers that don’t keep their inventory at a fulfillment center.  You brought up gas prices and your truck.  Have you entertained the idea of delivering?  Like you said, with USPS, UPS and FedEx, those drivers are just drivers/deliverers.  They don’t load their trucks.  I know that because I’ve loaded for UPS inbetween my discretions that led to me being fired from a [BLEEP] office job to my current job that I actually like.
Either way, call them up, they’ll give you a credit of some sorts.  I hear their CS isn’t as good here lately from when I called.  But they answered fairly quick and once Anil or Kenton, whatever the Indian man’s name was did give me a credit.  But I also didn’t have my package arrive as late as yours.

Another thing to take into account is local weather and such. That and if it is a third party, is your package out on the west coast?  That or you happen to have a lazy [BLEEP] driver that does the bare minimum.

Everyone in my county (except the northern part) is having the same problem. Several have called already and get varying degrees of the same answer- delivery driver issues. We're still trying to figure out if it's Amazon fulfillment or seller fulfillment that is the problem.

I also loaded trucks for UPS many years ago. That was a hard job. Not for the weak in mind or body.

Amazon Flex drivers do things differently than other delivery companies. It's really weird.

I'd almost forgot how much I hate car dealerships.

Almost.

About 6 years or so but this one was definitely a step back.

Thing is I was 99% sure of it before I stepped into the lot and still made the trek.

I don't know, it's the first time I've ever done it. Usually I just send everything in and hope for the best.

I think I can settle in on like 20 a day. I still making tweaks to the machine - the skate wheels are way off and so are the catch bars.
