Poz was solid but the team failed to put any playmakers at the Outside Linebacker position.  Thus Poz had all of the duties of stopping the run and watching TEs and sometimes WRs

This whole thing, just days before a game....madness man. It's madness.

No one's getting traded before the end of the week, and Marrone will not be told that the flight home's departure has been pushed back by an hour. Trading Ramsey is telling the rest of the players pissed off at Marrone (and there are a lot of them) that all they have to do is demand a trade to get one. Firing Marrone after week three would be an admission that keeping him in the first place was a mistake, and an admission that the players are running the team. Coughlin and Khan won't do that.

Ramsey will be kept until the Jags are so far off the lead that their realistic playoff hopes are gone and the fire sale begins. He'll be traded then, or maybe in the offseason. Either way, his days are numbered. Marrone will be fired sometime between when the team is officially out of the playoffs and the day after the last game of the season. Other players will be gone in the interim as well. Caldwell might be gone. Coughlin might be gone if Khan believes him to be part of the problem. I don't see changes that knee-jerk being made this week.

But he’s a good teammate and doesn’t want to be a distraction. He said it himself.

I know Poz was not just average he was decent he could stop the run, he was a liability in the pass and it always aggravated me.
No Fun

I think that is about right.  Have to keep in mind the contract that team will have to pay him.  Jags should get a worthwhile trade in return for him.  If you trade him for peanuts just to get him out, sets a bad precedent that all an unhappy player has to do is complain and they'll be traded whenever they want.

We own his rights and the leverage is still with us.  He can sit and pout for the next two years but all that would do is hurt his future value.  We shouldnt get rid of him just to do it.

They probably will trade him before the deadline if we suck all the way there, but I still think if we beat the tacks we could easily win the next 6 games if our D plays like they did this past week.

DC is setting price very high. Ramsey isn't going anywhere.

I think Ramsey and DC know that DM will be gone by end of the week.

Well then DC is trippin because he's gone too.

DC, DM, and TC are all gone at the end of the season barring some dramatic shift in the teams performance.

DC and TC will be gone end of season for sure, but DM will be first casualty

If we're actively trying to trade him, should we play him Thursday night and risk an injury?

Its frustrating like I get why people are annoyed with Ramsey.
The team has done some dumb stuff lately or for awhile really extending Bortles
Let A-rob walk but resigned the albino tiger
Moncrief was supposed to replace A-rob like whatt we all knew that was a bad replacement asap.
Not firing Marrone

Really I hope they figure it out. Keep Ramsey fire the staff and Caldwell have Coughlin retire.
No Fun

Poz was one of the worst signings in Jaguar history average linebacker.

You’re dumb. He may have been a liability in coverage, but his pre snap adjustments and cerebral ability held this defense together. Big reason why they haven’t been the same since.

Talented players including Poz = one the best defenses this century.
Same players after Poz retired = disorganized mess.

He wasn't even a starter in 2017 and wasn't in the top 8 most important players on the defense.

The defenses where Poz had a prominent role were also awful

Not all positive contributions are quantifiable

For sure, but we can quantify what he did on the field and it wasn't impressive. Someone other than Poz set up the defense a majority of the time.

Was Poz a great role model and helped the players out? 100%.

The 2017 defense would have been great if he didn't step foot on the field
