My father is a 5 year survivor of Glioblastoma. He is in the 10% and VERY lucky. The treatment McCain is about to go through at his age is going to be a nightmare. I hope he is one of the lucky ones.
The one positive about this is it might finally bring awareness to Glioblastoma as something "different" than "brain cancer". I feel like they are close to a major break through with immunotherapy trials, but I hope this brings additional funding to research. Fight the good fight Johnny! |
