Can someone explain this reasoning to me?  I honestly don't see what's special about the tacks, at all.  Mariota isn't great and is injury prone, and their defense is pretty average.  They can run the ball, but that's pretty much the only area of their team that is even above average.  If the Jags gel, I feel like they're a lot better than the tacks and every other team in the division.  Am I off base here?

I can't speak for anyone else, but to me the strongest thing about the titans is their offensive line. Mariota is, I believe, a decent game managing QB, so combined with a good offensive line, a big improvement in record last season, and against a generally poor division, it's easy to see why they'd be a chic pick to win. Personally I think they got their big improvement last year and Mariota isn't an elite QB that will push them to the next level, plus they'll face a harder schedule overall. I see 8-8 as a good estimate for where they can get if the have another season of good breaks, but I think the Jaguars should be able to have a winning record if Bortles can reduce his mistakes.
