Chad Henne sucked so badly that they were forced to abandon their plan in week 3 of sitting Bortles all year to learn. I completely disagree. Confidence is often times ones best ally. There are all sorts of techniques management could try to get him back on track. The guy can play - just needs a supporting cast.

If this were year 2 I see your point, but there isn't enough time to get back on track and justify keeping him around for 19M.

You can't teach confidence obviously, and with a backup breathing down his neck with no job security, it doesn't help matters.

I was all in on Bortles, but he is toast IMO.
