Just not the case and that knowledge is getting stale and forgotten. Can't put the complete onus on the new generation though. It's up to parents and grand parents to make sure knowledge is passed, and unfortunately, parenting has dropped off out of financial necessity and well, some laziness. Broad generalization on all fronts but that is what you get when measuring a populace.
