For all practical purposes,  the Jets decisions this year will almost certainly lead to them having a top 10 pick.  With a top 5 pick more likely than not and the # 1 pick a very realistic possibility.

It seems like everyone outside Florham Park is predicting the NFL's worst record. The Jets spent all offseason confronting the question about tanking for a QB because of who they've traded, waived, and cut. Of course, Sheldon Richardson is not one of the guys I would cite in making that accusation because he has problems under his helmet.

  If Andrew Luck misses a large portion of the season because of the injury he's dealing with  (  I'm not predicting this will happen ),  the Colts probably will also be a major contender for the 1st pick of the 2018 Draft.   

  The Browns have a long way to go to prove they aren't a contender for the top pick again.  

   Of course injuries that could occur will change the complexion of the season,  like is the case every season.
