On kicks the other team aplies pressure by sending blitzers from the outside. If they get close Myers misses. Most kickers ignore them.

That plus, probably, the mental pressure of knowing he's hanging onto a job by the skin of his teeth. Every kick is important for Myers personally at this point, and the guy's either a chokejob or never had consistency in him to begin with. Either way, there's gotta be someone else out there, please!
