The guy put up good numbers when he played last year. There isnt anything to really use against him like the constant stinkers Henne or Bortles would put up weekly. He has always played pretty good football and the numbers support this too. If he was a bad qb there would be ample evidence of it....but there isnt because hes not.... I don't have to tell you anything.  30 other teams have voted by their actions.  Either he's not a good fit for the offense they're running, or he's not better than the guys they have on their rosters.  My opinion is completely irrelevant.  The league has spoken.  To date, only one team has offered him a contract, and he rejected it.

The guy put up pedestrian numbers when he played last year.  That's where the big flaw in your logic is exposed.  You're setting a low bar.

Injuries happen.  Options are limited.  So, predicting he'll get picked up eventually isn't exactly a risky prediction.

Those "pedestrian" numbers is what our current QB's can only hope to obtain. The QB bar in Jacksonville isnt low, its just laying on the ground. We have 3 of the worst QB's in the league on our roster. Kaep is better than all of them by a good margin. Which again is like being the smartest in the special ed class, but still true. You know this, you also know he would be better than the vast majority of backups at the very least. Its 100% political and/or asking too much(which is doubtful the longer it goes). You say if he had the talent no one would care, look.at.the.numbers.of.his.career. and compare to some of the other qbs in the league. This argument is filled to the brim with logic and reason. Its easy to come to the correct conclusion based on the mounds of evidence that fit it and the complete lack of evidence that go against it.

I want a QB better than Kaep, there are none available right now.
