His career numbers are better than anything we seen here because they resulted in wins and his win loss record reflects that. It's  when people make this argument that he isn't any good, it comes off as disingenuous. If you just don't like it say that.


All of this doesn't even matter because it's too late in the season for him to come here. This should have been handled in March. We could have signed him or Cutler and that still would not have affected any future moves at the position going forward as well as produced at least an 8-8 season with competent qb play.

The team made the decision and that's that.

I understand you guys wanting to pick up the shoe shining boy who's never played a game of football before, just so you can get rid of Bortles, but wha'ts the one knock Bortles constantly gets? "He turns the ball over way too much"..

Well Cutler turns the ball over just as much. He's widely known for throwing all kinds of awful passes and making stupid decisions. The exact same thing that everybody rips Bortles for. Cutler has 184 career turnovers.

Easily a playoff contender and division winner

Jay Cutler took the bears to the NFC championship and has a 51-51 record in Chicago.

Dolphins won their first game this season.

If Bortles won games his turnovers wouldn't  be as bad. Eli has mad turnovers but also won 2 Super Bowl championships so you put up with him. Cutlers worse year was 5-10. Blake can barely muster 5 wins when he throws 35 tds

Y'all gotta stop believing this hype that since guys aren't on a team they just suck or something. Cutler has attitude issues. He also controlled his destiny and made tons of money. He was doing what he wanted to do. In most cases that's true but not in all cases. Y'all have way to much football knowledge and been around here way too to be this silly when it comes to these topics.
