Who has cut the cord?

I have Amazon Prime and Netflix for entertainment, and about 50 channels over the air. Well I "cut the cord" a while back and have never looked back. My solution for you though would cost the same amount that you were paying. I use Playstation Vue (Core Package) for $44.99 per month which includes the channels you listed along with a few other sports channels and several "cable" channels (no Home Shopping Network or Spanish channels). For an extra $10 per month I added the "sports package" which includes the NFL Redzone channel which I love. However, that puts you right back at $55 per month. The nice thing about this setup though is that there is no contract so I can cancel at any time. I can also use the app on several devices including my Amazon Fire TV box, phones, tablets, computers, etc. I can also log in when I'm away from home and watch online (most channels). As an example, at times while at work I'll log in and turn on ESPN while I'm at my desk. As far as removing the dish from your roof... it ain't gonna happen. In the past I had both Dish Network and DirecTV and the mounts for both dishes are still on my roof. I removed the actual dishes myself and "recycled" them on trash day. I didn't want to remove the mounts because I didn't want to risk causing a leak. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. |
