This is Trump's way of continuing a petty vendetta that started when the NFL kept him out in the '80s, got worse when his plan to use the USFL as a pawn to sue the crap out of the NFL failed miserably, and came to a head when owners laughed him out of the building in his attempt to buy the Bills. Trump cares about Trump, not about honoring the flag.

Truer words have never been written on this board. This all started because Trump has a vendetta against the NFL. I really think he's steamed even more, since the NFL let the Raiders move to Vegas. I believe that was "Big Red's" plan all along, to have his own team in Las Vegas. He'd try to move a team there that he purchased. Remember, the Bills were one of those teams constantly connected to rumors of relocation at the time. He's move them and call them the Las Vegas Donald Trump's.
