That said, this performance is still just one jellybean on a scale that has a whole lot more jellybeans on the other side of the scale. He's gonna have to string many more of these types of games together before anything can be considered fixed.

You say that he has many more bad games than good, but I don't think you're giving him credit for 2015.  I don't want to hear about garbage time, Blake had a damn good year in 2015.  He threw for over 4400 yards with 35 TD's, 18 INTs, with a passer rating of 88.2.  Yes he could have thrown less INT's, but he had to make a lot happen with little at his disposal. Honestly I think last year was just one of those years where nothing could go right.  I also think that Blake was surrounded by a fairly incompetent coaching staff.  I think that after this year people will realize that 2016 was the aberration, not 2015.  I'm excited for Blake, and I think he's in for a big year, throwing for just over 30 TD's with 12 INTS or less.  I really believe this team is in for a great year.

He was average in 2015. Very good in TD%, very bad in comp% and INT%, and a tad above or below average in Y/A, AY/A, ANY/A, and overall passer rating. I don't really care about anyone's overall stats they are way too noisy due to severe volume differences between QBs. Obviously there are externalities on rate stats too they aren't perfect, just better than overall.
