Because there is a specific protocol outlined for how one demonstrates respect while the National Anthem is played or the American Flag displayed. Apparently there's also a specific section in the NFL rule book that outlines how players are to behave, but as with a lot of things Goodell does, those lines can just be ignored when he feels like doing so.

The injustices these kids think they have been dealt have nothing to do with the flag or the national anthem. The whole thing shows ignorance on their part.

The ignorance is that they believe the BLM bull [BLEEP] in the first place. It's like the whole damn world is trying to become a victim.
