Trump calls on NFL owners to fire players who protest.

The saddest thing about this whole sad affair is that we are all chasing behind the actions of Collin Kaepernick. Whatever you think about the president, I don't think you have to worry about this kid splitting atoms in the future. This is the guy who wants the Castro brothers in charge of our education department. Richard Sherman and the Seattle Seahawks came up with the idea of standing and locking arms when this whole thing began and that didn't carry nearly the backlash.

The focus of the discussion has been solely on RIGHT TO PROTEST for the last 9 months or so. Any idiot can stomp their feet and call it a protest. That says nothing of how to demonstrate, how to actually have a message and present it in such a way that doesn't detract from or obscure it. This whole long sad story has empirically proven that choosing the anthem and the flag of the country that we ALL belong to and so many have DIED to protect and advance takes away from any other message and instead mires us in conversations about to stand or sit.

Ironically, this obfuscation actually serves as a fig leaf for the weakness of the entire argument in general. When was the last time that you heard someone kneeling for the flag actually citing FBI statistics on police shootings? When was the last time you heard someone fully articulate how in any given case someone was deprived of their right to due process or their respect as a human being under the law. A few years ago you had members of the St. Louis Rams come out with the "Hands up don't shoot" pose. When it was determined by the District Attorney (Democrat) and concurrently by the forensic analysis conducted by the DOJ (headed up by Eric Holder and directed by Barrack Obama) that the whole thing never happened did those players come out and issue a retraction/apology?

One of the reasons that we in America always seem to be having this discourse about Diversity and inclusion is because we are diverse and inclusive. Whenever you watch an international competition you can see that. I don't see a lot of little black girls running around on China's gymnastic team, I don't see a lot of Hispanic soccer players suiting up for great Britain. In America blacks make up a little less than 14% of the population. In GB its less than 4%. God save the queen.
