State of emergency declared in Alachua County for white supremacist

On my way home from a medical appointment at UF Shands Hospital today, I saw barricades, armed security guards, and a live NBC news vehicle on campus. Traffic was bad for the 1:00 hour on a Wednesday. Museums are closed. Schools also will be closed tomorrow. People apparently are advised not to drive unless they have to. My dentist told patients when Mom was there all appointments for tomorrow are canceled. The total cost, which comes from taxpayers, is $500,000. All of this is for one of the white supremacists who protested in Charlottesville.
