Did he ever not get it or was it a result of a bad offense and bad coaching?
The past couple years we had a bad offensive line and a bad running game. Teams were able to scheme for what Bortles did well, take all that away, and it obviously turned out bad. Now because things are a bit more balanced he's able to actually do some things and get some confidence back. Bradley and Co in the past would continually beat the dead horse in the past and do what wasn't working. A lot of that was in part to the bad running game, but everyone wanted to place all that on Bortles. |
