What about the word "nearly" do you not understand? Yes, the offensive line played very poorly, some players used very bad judgement when committing taunting penalties and our receivers dropped at least 2 or 3 well thrown balls by Bortles. That being said, Bortles is one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the NFL. Have our expectations of him dropped so low that his supporters actually think he played o.k. yesterday? Not only is his lack of accuracy a big problem, but the guy is just not "wired" to handle adversity. His career will continue as a backup on another team like Blain Gabbert, so I wouldn't feel too sorry for him.
