Will Jags pursue Tyrod Taylor?

Achilles, Yesterday was no fun BUT as often as Peterman threw pics - you seem to be missing points of conversation and reasoning just as often. Which is concerning for someone who seems to act like they know what they are talking about.

Luckily, I come back to break it down. Had you have read what I told you the reasoning is, you would save yourself from making ignorant statements as evidenced above and would save yourself the Peterman type embarrassment.
This was called a calculated risk. SOMETIMES, when there is a risk involved things dont shake out the way you'd hope.
As I explained previously, this was more about the ANTI-TYROD. Who in the world can possibly know how the kid will be? Things started out great - then his security blanket (and the WR hes shown the most chemistry with in his short time on the field) goes down with a knee injury. This was after he caught a perfectly placed ball that TT wouldnt in a MILLION years have DARED to throw. Next play the FB pops a ball thrown in his numbers 10 feet in the air and BAM. Pick 6 city.
From there, Bosa just burned and couldnt be blocked - and managed to hit the kid 2x while throwing the ball in less than 3 sec. Difference here is maybe TT could have avoided that - but Taylor fell victim to a similar play later after getting stripped from the blind side.
Over 2 and a half years, Taylor has shown us who he is. He is an athlete who wont throw quick and as a result is athletic enough to run around and try to make something happen. He is AVG to slightly above avg in a system built around him. Down by more than 4 points? AGAIN- FOUR TIMES in 2 and a half years he has brought his team back when the Bills have been down by 4 points - NOT FOURTEEN- F_O_U_R!!!
That is pretty poor that when your team goes down by a touchdown you pretty much arent coming back.
So again Mr Achillies, therein lies the problem. Do you want your FRANCHISE qb to have a stat like that?! Hell no!!!!
I give McBeane credit for realizing this and not SETTLING for mediocrity.... Because the last few regimes were content. I dont want to sneak into the playoffs at 8-8 and loose a wildcard game while the national media laughs that we got in at .500 and thinks its cute. No thanks! I wanna be GOOD, and consistantly GOOD. Not just some flash in the pan, back into the playoffs only to have everything change roster wise like last year and is no doubt coming again this year. Lets face it, its harder to cut Taylor loose if he happens to be the QB when they accidentally get into the playoffs and end the drought.
Credit to them for realizing their 'quarterback' needs upgrading and coming to terms they arent going to bring Taylor back. So, as soon as they deemed that the kid might be better or at LEAST more capable of taking chances and throwing the ball without having to have a WR college open. They know what they have, they know its not good enough, they know they are moving on, and they know they are NOTHING without a franchise QB. They had Cam and know what a difference it makes.
So, I'm glad you got a good laugh but I'd do it again. Hell, I'd give the kid another shot next week and see how he deals with this and bounces back because he isnt as bad as yesterday showed - things just snowballed. If we had a 3rd string that wasnt Joe Webb and was a young guy, I'd give him a shot too if Peterman continued to show he isnt getting it. Its refreshing to see a regime not SETTLING for some journeyman scrub and not drafting/giving chances to young QBs. We passed on guys because we were content with Fitzpatrick/Orton/Cassel/Kolb and the list goes on because the goal was to make the freaking playoffs even if they got destroyed when they got there.
Whoever the ANTI-TYROD is, get em in there until dumb luck or number get someone to stick. Im David Garrard-ed  ERR Tyrod Taylor-ed out. The team wants to run THEIR O and pick the QB who fits rather than changing everything they do and dumbing it down for Taylor. Agree or disagree if thats the right move, thats the plan and I applaud it. Taylor (like Peterman the week before in garbage time) did come in and played with his hair on fire lowring his shoulder and taking some hits as well as was more open to throwing the ball downfield - which was good. And even though it was good to see, it was pretty obvious watching it he just isnt that type of player/qb. They want someone who has that skillset amd the process of finding that person has begun. That simple.
Now, other things go into account such as locker room etc and I get that. But with the amount of Free Agents and scrubs I cant see more than 15 AT MOST of these guys back next year. Cheers to the Bills having a plan because all of the Mario Williams like shortcuts this team has bought over the years didnt do squat.
Enjoy your teams success - as a fan you deserve it and I hope you relish it. Dont be a goon and act like you know more about my team with some half informed lazy/easy hot take. You dont and I'd appreciate it if you stuck to what you know - arguing about Bortles future. Next year when you have Taylor, then you can tell me alllllll about it.  Banana

Whatever helps you sleep at night bro. You can twist things to support any argument. The facts are Taylor had his team in a playoff spot. Bills decided to throw a rookie in against a dangerous team with that pass rush and secondary. A time when you need a vet. Anyways, your team has given up over a 100 point over the last two weeks. Might as well keep tanking. If you can write novels about a solid NFL quarterback in Taylor, or a dt not on your team, you will have plenty to discuss with your team imploding top to bottom
