Which is concerning for someone who seems to act like they know what they are talking about. Comeon man.... this isnt a tough concept to grasp. This regime has been to the playoffs recently in CAR. 17 years isnt on them nor should they feel the pressure for it to be. Theyve got 5 year deals and at least a 3 year plan. Rome wasnt built in a day. Before the year Beane even came out and said its going to be tough sledding with out a franchise guy so they are going to evaluate, figure out who they want going forward, start to shape the roster, and when they find the big tall pocket passer who puts a team on his back everything will be inplace. QB part is easier said then done - but man, after listening to other bumbling GMs come through here - this actually seems smart. They inherited a pretty poor and agning roster from Rex/Whaley and are continuing to purge. They havent even had a joint draft together. Your statments are making the incorrect assumption this team is balls to the wall trying to win now. Which again, with all due respect - why do you keep talking with the assumption you know what you're talking about when its pretty clear you dont. You know Jax. They had been pretty bad and had a lot of nice pieces already in house when Marrone came in. Bills roster just isnt like that. This year was going to be BAD. Then they got some bounces and squeeked out 5 wins with only the Raiders and Denver actually being impressive and decisive. There are no Peterman excuses, and Tyrod is a class act... But being a classy guy isnt a reason to be a starter in the NFL. Again, its about wanting to be better and seeing a plan through. Its a work in progress, nothing more nothing less. Stick to what you know kid, I'm more than happy to fill you in! |
