The Titans defense has been overachieving lately and has been bailing out the really bad play by Mariota against bad teams. They finally came up on the short end in Arizona. Garoppolo has given the 49ers a boost. Not a huge boost but enough to beat an average Texans team on their 3rd string QB. It is realistic for the 49ers to win unless Mariota steps his game up. I don't want to take the lousy Texans on their 3rd string QB lightly but we SHOULD for all intents and purposes win the game... even if by only 1 point. I would root against New England at this point. Since the Steelers lucked out and beat the Ravens I would hope they beat the Patriots since they had an improbable loss to Miami. This gives us the same record as New England and we would have the tie breaker on them due to conference record (9-2 vs. 7-3). I like the idea of going to Pittsburgh more than going to New England. We won that game 30-9 already. That 2 seed is just as good as the 1 seed for us I think.
