For a lot of people, maybe including me, that's just fine.  As long as that religious extremist, bigot, and child molester Roy Moore isn't in the US Senate, and as long as Steve Bannon will quit trying to hijack the Republican Party.  A lot of people, including me, will gladly support reasonable, qualified Republican candidates.  But never a guy like Roy Moore.  Even Richard Shelby said he wouldn't vote for Roy Moore.  It's ridiculous the guy was even in the race to begin with. 

The Republicans are much better off with last night's result than if Moore had won.  If he had won, that would have been a running sore on the back of the Republican Party.  Either they seat this accused child molester, or they refuse to seat him and all hell breaks out inside the party. 

Every decent Republican should thank GOD Moore didn't get elected.
