But to act like it's some huge issue now days is a joke. I remember more criticism for Manziel than I'm hearing for Jackson. Where is all this horrible talk from the media about Jackson coming from? Should of seen what the media said about Tebow when he was out there balling, taking over a 1-4 team to the playoffs and beating Pitt. in the playoffs. Tebow got shaffted, and the media ruined his career, what about that?(01-26-2018, 06:59 PM)flgatorsandjags Wrote: Lol, horrible article. What does white have anything to do with it? Cam Newton and Jamarcus Russell, tall and black, went 1st overall. A few years ago the top 2 picks where black QBs. Vince Young top 3 pick was great wasnt he? RG3 went number 2 right behind Luck who the Redskins made the mistake and gave up the farm for. Teddy was touted as the best prospect since Luck and the next Brady, Manning, and Montana by the same talking heads. But in reality every team that passed on him was right about his build, the thing that scared most teams away other than he wasn't a very good QB. We heard the same stuff on all the teams that passed on Geno, tried to throw the racist card out there, teams passing on him had nothing to do with him not being very good lol. I could of sworn Vick went 1st overall in 01? In the 70s or 80s probably, but this guy is living in the past. The guy that wrote this article doesn't have a clue. Teams look at size for their QBs because most of them have the best arm strength and when you look at the all time greats most of them are 6'4 or taller, its really common sense. I agree that some teams look at size and arm strength more than they should but it because its what most of the all time greats had and they are trying to find another. |
