The kids and teachers won’t be running around the shooter. Odds are that if you see the shooter, you have a clear backstop. Most active shooters quit or kill themselves when confronted with force. Besides, are we really saying that having a good guy with a gun makes it more dangerous than just having an killer roaming unhindered?
