What you and TMD don't seem to get is that there are years of damage Caldwell has to erase.  Damage that cannot be undone in a single offseason, or even two.  Gene Smith was below Matt Millen tier of a General Manager.  And he followed Shack Harris, who was not much better.  

 

Bradley was a first year head coach with not just a bottom 5 roster in the NFL, but the worst roster in the NFL.  And no, it's not Caldwell's fault that it's the worst.  You can't build a house on sand.

 

Bradley isn't to blame for the situation, Bradley is to blame for not being great.

 

That's fine, every team can't have Jim Harbaugh or Bill Cowher, or Bill Parcells. However, it doesn't mean we should be delusional that Bradley is cut of a rare cloth. He appears to be another middle of the road coach, something the Jaguars have been suffering through since Coughlin's firing.
