Again, there is a lot of "perhaps" to all these hypothetical scenarios. Perhaps, colvin wanted to play on the outside and be a #1 or #2 guy. So the money wouldn't have mattered. 

We don't get to know these sides of the deals. Usually we know if there is strong interest, and then we know the money. As fans we don't know the team's or player's true thoughts on anything.

Are you kidding?! The exact same can be said about the argument that guys like Westbrook and Cole will "break out", becoming good receivers for us and replace Robinson and Hurns well. There is a thread right now debating whether or not Cole should be our Nr1 WR... Our entire moves are justified with hypothetical scenarios!
