I’m still at a loss over the $4 million guarantee this year. The team said there was no such deadline, but that doesn’t seem to be a sufficient explanation unless I missed something else. His deal was reported to have a $20 million guarantee of which he had received $16 million. Was the total guarantee misreported? Are there perhaps offsets in the deal which put his new team on the hook for the $4 million? Or did he get cut and get handed a $4 million dollar check on his way out of the building?
