I get that QB runs force your hand.

But maybe this time we let it play out if we aren't convinced there's a "must have" guy for us in this draft that we can realistically get.

What if NE uses their firepower to get one of their own.

Would they be parting ways with Hoyer? If not Hoyer, I'm sure other veterans will be hitting the market closer to cuts if they aren't comfortable with Kessler by then.

It's better to have options, than to force yourself into a decision.

Maybe we just sit still and let it unfold. It could be we come away from this draft with only a backup and not a potential starter. It's not like we're going to have a chance at the top of the crop. We're going to be looking at second tier guys anyway. Not unless there's a monster move. I'm not sure that's necessary. I don't think we're in a position to feel compelled to do that, and I don't see the QB worth doing that for in this class.
