Some are lucky enough to get re-elected no matter what they spend or how they perform. Their riches have no bounds as they need no parachute. They have a constituency that would never pull the lever for anyone else.

We're a country where the uneducated and educated alike now favor voting for Santa Claus. Who's giving away the most free stuff.

The politicians just don't have any guts. They don't want to cause any pain to anyone, because it might affect their chances of reelection.

Trump is the same way. Spend, spend, spend.
