OTH, Danny Ainge has really gotten good at the whole GM thing. I mean 12-13 years ago he was chronically on the edge of getting fired, but then he turned that 5th pick into Ray Lewis, and gave up half the team for Garnett, he has been golden ever sense. The perfect example of a guy getting better with time.

You meant Ray Allen but I got what you meant. The real heist was ditching Pierce and Garnett on the Brooklyn Nets. Danny set them up for some good years.

This team would have been borderline great if it weren't for the injuries, key being Gordon Hayward in Game 1, then, recently, Kyrie Irving. The Irving-Thomas deal was a Danny Brinks job, too; he got one of the best players in the NBA for a guy 5-9" with an injured hip.

You can bet he's scheming to get Anthony Davis out of New Orleans next.
