Yep, thanks I was trying to avoid using that acronym lol but IC is InterCity which means stops are made along the way. ICE means InterCity Express which are generally non-stops (with some exceptions). They are pretty nice trains but I found in Germany they're not as reliable as you'd think they'd be.
