Still - I think the production they'd get from Fowler off the bench this year may outweigh the value of what's being offered in trade.

I too think Smoot is more of a strong end, and I think if you put him in Fowler's role in terms of number of snaps, I don't believe he comes close to matching Fowler's production in terms of pass rush.

I don't think any of those guys would match Fowler's production off the bench.
This was an intended inference by stating the traded pick or player may not outweigh Fowler's 2018 value to the Jags.
