If he has a better WR on the field with him and a better QB behind center, then maybe we see "major breakout" numbers. I'm just not terribly optimistic of that all coming together just yet.

I agree, I don't think Shorts is much better than what we have seen. Hes good enough to break 1k in an ideal environment, but not good enough to do it on his own in a bad one. Yeah I think he could hit 1200 if he was with Brady, but that doesn't mean he is a true dominant wideout, he is a second fiddle level guy, and a good one at that, but he isn't the goto.
