Mentioned this in another thread but the team has put itself in a bind by insinuating Blake is done. But the problem is we dont save much money getting rid of him(what is it $5M?). And since we'd use that money on his replacement, its possible we dont find anyone better at that price. So we'd be left paying the same amount of money for worse QB play. All for the sake of "moving on". That seems dumb. At that point we should just keep him. But how do you do that after leaking word that he is a goner? Looks foolish.

But if we are hellbent on releasing him, hopefully we can find an equivalent, if not better, player for that $5M.
