 Bortles, on the other hand, is lucky to throw a spiral in a game with his elongated, wind up motion. He is a liability for a pro style offense where timing and ball placement is critical. Every offense he will ever run will be extremely limited. I've also heard his practice sessions are pretty awful at times. Hard to game plan with confidence when your QB looks like poop all week.

Bortles may not have Gabbert’s mechanics but he’s the far superior QB. He beats him in every category. He even makes better decisions. I think a lot of people are allowing their hate for Bortles cloud their judgement.
